My research & learning as a Developer have led me to discover many interesting and creative techniques. I aim to inspire as well as provide digital products that help people to get things done using Web based software technologies.

My main tools include VS Code, GIT, Javascript, Python, Solr/Elk, PHP, Docker, Photoshop, any flavours of HTML/CSS that are approriate, including Sass or CSS-in-JS such as Emotion. I am also very familiar with React, Redux & UI Frameworks like MUI. Over recent years I have focused on back end work, including building REST APIs in Node.js & Python. I have become expert at implementing GraphQL standards in order to build GraphQL servers in various languages. I can use a Mac or PC and although they sport some fancy designs these days, I have always seen them as tools to be creative with, not as accessories. I have been told I am extremely pragmatic, which is why I make sites like this one, so I can try new things out.
